In this case study, the objective was to streamline asset management by digitising our client’s asset using robotic technology.
Faced with challenges such as traditional time-consuming on-site inspections, the hesitation to use robotics and the ‘we have always done it that way’ attitude, this case study showcases a successful transition from long-established asset management practices to a more advanced and efficient approach using robotic technology.
The tangible results achieved in terms of time and cost efficiency, safety enhancement, and the creation of a digital twin showcases this method of capture as a model for future asset management.
The resulting detailed digital model serves as a baseline for future assessments, providing the client with remote accessibility and enhancing safety, especially in challenging environments such as the industrial sector.
